MCAPass, Mac için yerel çalışan bir parola yöneticisi. Parolaların şifreli bir
dosyada, kendi diskinde durur — bulut yok, hesap yok, senkronizasyon sunucusu yok. KeePass
dosyalarıyla (.kdbx) çift yönlü uyumludur.
Ne yapar
Otomatik doldurma. Giriş kutusuna tıkla, ⌘⌥A'ya bas — kullanıcı adını,
Tab'ı, parolayı ve Enter'ı senin yerine yazar. KeePass'in Windows'taki davranışının aynısı.
KeePass uyumlu. KDBX 3.1 ve 4.x okur, 4.x yazar. KeePass 2.x ve KeePassXC ile
aynı dosyayı paylaşabilirsin — bu uyum varsayılmadı, KeePassXC'nin kendi aracıyla karşılıklı
test edilerek doğrulandı.
Güçlü şifreleme. AES-256 ve ChaCha20; anahtar türetme Argon2id, varsayılan
256 MiB bellek maliyetiyle. KeePassXC 64 MiB ile gelir — yüksek bellek, parola deneyen
donanımı pahalıya getirir.
Sakin arayüz. Dar pencerelerde bile okunabilir kalan, göz yormayan koyu tema.

Kurulum
1. DMG'yi indir, çift tıkla ve MCAPass'i Applications klasörüne sürükle.
2. Uygulamayı aç. İnternetten indirilen her uygulamada olduğu gibi macOS bir kez
onay ister; geliştirici olarak Muhammet Cagri AYDIN görünür.
3. Otomatik doldurmayı kullanacaksan Erişilebilirlik izni ver: Sistem
Ayarları → Gizlilik ve Güvenlik → Erişilebilirlik. Başka uygulamaların kutularına
yazabilmesi için gerekli; izin vermezsen uygulamanın geri kalanı yine çalışır.
4. Var olan bir .kdbx dosyanı aç ya da yenisini oluştur.
Güvenlik
Parolaların yalnızca senin diskinde, ana parolanla şifrelenmiş bir dosyada durur. MCAPass'in
sunucusu yok; hiçbir veri bize ya da başka birine gönderilmez, hesap açman gerekmez, kayıt
tutulmaz. Kasa kapalıyken dosya, ana parolan olmadan okunamaz.
Uygulama Apple tarafından notarize edilmiştir: Apple ikiliyi zararlı yazılıma karşı
taradı ve imzasını doğruladı. İndirdiğin dosyanın bizden çıktığı gibi durduğunu macOS her
açılışta kontrol eder.
MCAPass is a local password manager for the Mac. Your passwords live in an
encrypted file on your own disk — no cloud, no account, no sync server. It reads and writes
KeePass files (.kdbx) in both directions.
What it does
Auto-type. Click the login field, press ⌘⌥A — it types your username, Tab,
password and Enter for you. Exactly how KeePass behaves on Windows.
KeePass compatible. Reads KDBX 3.1 and 4.x, writes 4.x. You can share the same file
with KeePass 2.x and KeePassXC — this wasn't assumed, it was verified by round-tripping
files through KeePassXC's own tool.
Strong encryption. AES-256 and ChaCha20, with Argon2id key derivation at a
256 MiB memory cost by default. KeePassXC ships with 64 MiB — high memory makes
password-guessing hardware expensive.
Calm interface. A dark theme that stays readable even in narrow windows.
What you need
Mac: macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later.
Accessibility access for auto-type — see below.
Installing
1. Download the DMG, double-click it and drag MCAPass into your
Applications folder.
2. Open the app. As with anything downloaded from the internet, macOS asks once for
confirmation; it will show Muhammet Cagri AYDIN as the developer.
3. If you want auto-type, grant Accessibility access: System Settings →
Privacy & Security → Accessibility. It's what lets the app type into other apps; without
it everything else still works.
4. Open an existing .kdbx file or create a new one.
Security
Your passwords sit only on your disk, in a file encrypted with your master password. MCAPass
has no server; nothing is sent to us or anyone else, there's no account and no logs. While the
vault is locked, the file cannot be read without your master password.
The app is notarized by Apple: Apple scanned the binary for malware and verified its
signature. macOS checks on every launch that the file you downloaded is exactly what we
shipped.
